FOUNDER

Dennis McCormack, owner/founder of McCormack Insurance Consulting has over 30 years of experience helping businesses build a strategic plan to manage the risk, compliance, administration and rising cost of health insurance. Dennis specializes in benefits plan design, Human Resources and compliance risk, including the Affordable Care Act. Dennis has an entrepreneurial spirit having owned his own grocery store in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, managed broadcast radio stations in Wyoming, Southern California and Utah, and ownership of his insurance firm for over 28 years. Dennis has a talent for building profitable strategic partnerships with an exceptional ability to listen actively to clients, assess needs, and provide appropriate solutions. He is an easy-going collaborator who is dedicated to delivering best in class client services and to achieving organizational success. His passion for disrupting the traditional health insurance marketplace began in 1992 right here in Salt Lake City, Utah. This passion and strategy quickly spread to multiple states throughout the country.

Chief Operations Officer

Dustine McCormack, co-owner of McCormack Benefit Consulting, educated by Westminster College in communication and accounting and Utah State University in Rehabilitation Counseling she offers a diverse perspective on business. Dustine’s background includes over 20 years of SHRM membership, developing innovating business models in the Private and not-for-profit sector, designing and delivering effective training models for a diverse set of businesses resulting in increased efficacy and improved return on investments. Dustine has taught worksite mental health for the Catholic Diosis, LDS Stake Centers, Colleges in Utah and Colorado and numerous tech and service companies across the US. She enjoys the study of Ayurveda, meditation and yoga.

In 2000 Gwen joined the insurance agent world and began working with business owners and individuals seeking insurance coverage, retirement income solutions and life insurance protection. Gwen believes that helping employers and families is a critical part of what she does. Employers and employees are people first. Gwen’s forward-thinking approach quickly earned her a reputation as a trusted resource to her community and business associates. Gwen doesn’t feel like she “sells” insurance. Rather she is a business owner who changes people’s lives for the better. Gwen helps you consider different strategies and work with you to place you with the right benefit package, plan design and support. Gwen feels her clients are the most important part of our business, and she works tirelessly to ensure each client complete satisfaction. Our goal is a long-term commitment to meeting your needs in hopes that it will foster a lasting relationship.

Gwen has served her clients with a solution-oriented approach to insurance and retirement-income coverage. Gwen serves Utah, Northern Nevada, and South Eastern Idaho areas. Gwen has served on the Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee Co-Chair, previously served as a board member for the chamber, was on the Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital Governing Board for 4 years, Secretary and Board of Trustees for Nevada Health Foundation, Lions Club and Red Cross.
